Situated in the relaxed neighborhood in the Piedmont Hills this Old Buck remains loyal to the dive bar soul; welcoming our neighborhood locals, sports fans, parents, veterans and happy hour goers from way back when. Recently renovated with a Redwood Bar-Top and Refreshing Cocktail Menu. This space is IDEAL for groups of 20-40 guests for events including Holiday and Birthday Parties, Team Networking events, Team meetings and Spirit tastings, Baby Showers, Appetizer and Happy Hour Receptions, Audio & Visual Presentations, Themed Events for Trivia, Dancing, and Karaoke, Club Meet Up Events.
This space includes PRIVATE USE of our indoor Bar and Dining Area which accommodates up to 40 guest for a variety of events. We have been the go to Specialty San Jose Venue for many Bay Area Locals as well as neighboring Companies. We'll take the time to accommodate all of your specific needs to make your event a memorable sucess!
Please view pictures for suggested floor plan layouts biased on the needs of your event. Our main floor of the space has a fixed bar with four high top tables. We can also accommodate areas for a photo booth, projector, and most third party vendors requests for DJs, Photographers, and Caterers.
Guests may bring decorations such as banners, posters, and flowers. We offer custom lighting controls to set the mood of the space and can change the individual light color and brightness.
Background music is provided with an option to rent dance speakers which connect via blue tooth to your playlist. Private entertainers including DJ's may be booked by the guest guest as well.

Please see our current drink menu for drink options. We can also curate a specialty cocktail menu for your event on request.
The host may provide a limed or unlimited bar tab for their guests, Pre-purchas drink tickets to distribute, or choose to have a cash bar where guest open and pay for their individual tabs.
Please note there is no outside drinks of any-kind allowed.
Food Options:
Please view our event appetizer menu for food options. We will do our best to accommodate any requests.
Hosts may also choose to bring their own food or have a third party caterer the event. When choosing this option you must provide all of your own utensils and service ware. Please reach out for flat rate pricing if you require staff to bus tables for food or other accommodations like chafing dishes.

Hourly Booking Rate: Weekday $150 /hr Weekend Rate $160 /hr
Minimum booking: 2-Hours
Food and Beverage Minimum: $200-$1000 Biased on the duration of the event.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made by email at least 48 hours prior to the event date for a full deposit refund.
Deposit: $250 or 1/2 of the hourly booking rate, whichever is greater.
Available Booking Hours: Monday - Sunday 8:00AM-2:00AM

We ask that you follow a few simple rules to help us keep other guests and staff happy:
No outside beverages of any kind allowed.
No smoking or vaping indoors
No animals or pets without pre-approval.
All host decorations must be set up and broken down by the host.
Additional charges may be incurred for cleaning bodily fluids, clearing /bussing food and or utensils brought by guest, set up or removal of guest decorations or property damages. The minimum charge for necessary cleaning caused by rule violation is $150. The minimum charge for guests violating the no drink policy is $200.
